Aluminium Hydroxide (ATH) Flame Retardant
Eco-friendly flame retardant filler for plastics and rubber
High-purity aluminium hydroxide filler that releases water vapor on heating, suppressing flame and smoke.
Product Overview
Aluminium hydroxide (Al(OH)₃, ATH) is the world’s most widely used inorganic flame retardant. When heated above 200°C it absorbs heat and releases water vapor, diluting combustible gases and forming an insulating alumina char. It is halogen-free, non-toxic and smoke-suppressing, meeting the strictest environmental and fire-safety standards.
Our ATH is produced with controlled particle size, high whiteness and extremely low iron content, enabling use in PVC cables, rubber, epoxy and polyester composites, marble and artificial stone, and EVA foam without affecting processing or final color.
Key Features
- Halogen-free, non-toxic flame retardancy
- Endothermic decomposition suppresses smoke
- High whiteness ≥ 95% for bright products
- Iron content ≤ 0.01% for color stability
- Controlled particle size for easy dispersion
