Product Overview

Calcined alumina oxide powder (α-Al₂O₃) is produced by calcining alumina hydrate at 1200-1400°C, converting it to the dense, thermodynamically stable alpha phase. It offers exceptional hardness (9 on Mohs scale), high thermal conductivity, electrical insulation and chemical inertness, making it fundamental to advanced ceramics.

Our calcined alumina is available in standard, low-soda and fine-ground grades, with controlled alpha conversion and particle size for applications from spark plug insulators and wear parts to electronic substrates and refractory castables.
