Molecular Sieve 5A
PSA air separation and natural gas sweetening zeolite
5A zeolite for PSA oxygen generation, CO₂ removal from natural gas and linear paraffin separation.
Product Overview
Molecular sieve 5A (Ca-A zeolite) has an effective pore size of about 5Å and a high affinity for CO₂ and normal paraffins. It is the workhorse of pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen concentrators, where it separates nitrogen from air, and is widely used to remove CO₂, H₂S and mercaptans from natural gas streams.
Our 5A grade is optimized for rapid adsorption kinetics and repeated PSA cycling, offering consistent nitrogen capacity, high crush strength and minimal performance fade over thousands of cycles.
Key Features
- High CO₂ and H₂S removal capacity for natural gas
- Fast kinetics for rapid PSA cycling
- Separates normal from iso-paraffins
- Stable capacity over 100,000+ cycles
- Available in beads, pellets and granules
