Product Overview

Catalyst carrier balls are the most common support geometry in fixed-bed reactors, offering an excellent balance of mechanical strength, low pressure drop and ease of packing. Manufactured from high-purity pseudo boehmite with controlled pore structure, they provide the surface area on which active metals such as cobalt, molybdenum, nickel and platinum are dispersed.

Our carrier balls are available in alpha and gamma alumina forms, with pore volumes and crush strengths tailored to specific hydrotreating, reforming and purification processes, and are produced to tight size tolerance for consistent bed behavior.

Key Features

  • Crush strength up to 200 N/ball
  • Tailored pore volume for metal dispersion
  • Low pressure drop with uniform ball geometry
  • Alpha and gamma alumina forms available
  • Narrow size tolerance for predictable packing
