Activated alumina for water treatment is a granular, high-surface-area aluminum oxide engineered specifically for removing fluoride, arsenic and selenium from drinking water. Its porous structure and amphoteric surface chemistry allow strong adsorption of anions under controlled pH conditions (typically 5.5-6.5), making it the most widely used fluoride removal media in the world.
