Catalyst Carrier for Ebullating Bed
Wear-resistant support for slurry and ebullating bed reactors
Attrition-resistant alumina carriers engineered for the intense mixing of ebullating bed heavy oil processes.
Product Overview
Ebullating bed reactors, used for heavy oil upgrading and residue conversion, keep catalyst particles in a state of continuous fluidization. This intense mechanical environment demands extremely high attrition resistance and crush strength from the carrier.
Our ebullating bed catalyst carrier is formulated with optimized macroporosity and sintered microstructure to survive years of abrasion, maintaining particle integrity and preventing fines generation that would plug downstream fractionation and pump systems.
Key Features
- Extremely low attrition rate (≤ 0.5%/month)
- Sintered microstructure for abrasion resistance
- Macroporous network for heavy feedstocks
- High crush strength under fluidization
- Consistent particle size for stable ebullation
