Ring Shape Catalyst Carrier
Raschig-style rings that cut pressure drop in high-flow beds
Ring-shaped alumina carriers for high-throughput reactors where pressure drop limits process capacity.
Product Overview
Ring-shaped (Raschig-style) catalyst carriers open a central channel through each pellet, reducing pressure drop by 40-60% compared with solid pellets at the same superficial velocity. This makes them ideal for high-gas-flow services such as Claus sulfur recovery, tail-gas treatment and regenerative thermal oxidation.
Produced with thick walls for strength and a smooth bore for consistent packing, our ring carriers accept high active-phase loadings while keeping reactor pressure drop manageable.
Key Features
- 40-60% lower pressure drop than solid pellets
- High throughput capacity in gas services
- Thick wall retains crush strength
- Smooth bore prevents bridging in packing
- Alpha alumina option for high temperature
