Spherical Alumina Support for Adsorption
Versatile spherical support for adsorption and catalysis
High-strength spherical alumina for catalyst beds, desiccant towers and guard beds with excellent flow characteristics.
Product Overview
Spherical alumina support is a versatile, high-strength carrier used both as an inert support layer in catalytic reactors and as an adsorbent in drying and purification towers. Its spherical shape produces lower pressure drop and more uniform flow than irregular particles, and its high purity ensures no interference with the active catalyst.
We supply spheres from 2mm to 8mm in gamma and alpha phases, meeting the mechanical and purity specifications of major reactor licensors for tower packing, catalyst underlayers and adsorption service.
Key Features
- Low pressure drop with spherical packing
- Purity levels for licensor-grade specifications
- Gamma and alpha phases available
- Sizes 2-8mm for multi-layer beds
- High crush strength for tall towers
